Writing in Parallel is a structured 90-minute session that collects written responses from every participant simultaneously, then feeds the complete collection into an AI model for real-time analysis. It is not a workshop. It is not a survey. It is a methodology built on a simple constraint: every participant writes exactly one 5-sentence paragraph in response to a shared prompt.

That constraint is the mechanism. It produces comparable, structured responses at scale, something open-ended discussions and traditional surveys cannot do.

Your Role as Executive Sponsor

As executive sponsor, you are the person who books the session and owns its strategic purpose. The decisions you make before, during, and after the session determine the quality of the output.

Before the Session

Choose the prompt. The prompt is the single most important input to the session. It should be specific, honest, and answerable in 5 sentences. Avoid prompts that have an obvious correct answer or that feel like a performance review.

Decide when to share the prompt. You can share it with participants in advance, or reveal it at the start of the session. Both approaches work. Revealing it in advance produces more polished paragraphs. Revealing it at the start produces more candid ones.

Confirm logistics. Confirm participant count (maximum 25) and ensure every participant has access to a device for word processing and access to dashgoer.com.

What You Will Do

You will read a prompt, then write exactly one 5-sentence paragraph in response. You may use any word processor: a laptop, a tablet, even your phone's notes app. Take your time. Write what you actually think, not what you think you are supposed to think.

The 5-Sentence Rule

The paragraph must contain exactly 5 sentences. This is enforced by the submission form: the Send button does not become active until the form detects exactly 5 sentences. This is not a test of writing skill. It is a structure designed to keep every response at the same depth so that the AI can compare them fairly.

How to Submit

  1. Write your paragraph in any word processor.
  2. Go to dashgoer.com.
  3. Paste your paragraph into the text box.
  4. Enter the prompt exactly as it was given to you.
  5. Enter the recipient's email address provided by the facilitator.
  6. Click Send once the button becomes active.

Your response is delivered from contact@dashgoer.com. Every response arrives from the same address, so no one can identify who wrote what. Anonymity is built into the system.

  • Start with your clearest, most direct sentence.
  • Use sentences 2 and 3 to support or explain your opening.

Common Facilitator Questions

What if a participant writes more or fewer than 5 sentences?

The form will not allow submission until exactly 5 sentences are detected. Ask the participant to adjust their paragraph before resubmitting.

What if a participant does not want to submit?

Participation is voluntary. The analysis will reflect the responses received. Note the gap when presenting results.

Can the same session be run with the same group twice?

Yes. Different prompts produce different analyses. The methodology is repeatable.

Who receives the submitted paragraphs?

All paragraphs are delivered to the email address entered during submission, from contact@pollagraph.com. The facilitator or sponsor controls that address.
